'60 Days In' Season 6: Tony, Vanessa and Heather discover new ammo against Etowah County Jail manage
The season finale episode of '60 Days In' aired tonight and picked off from last week's episode where Tony was sent to solitary confinement. "I don't get afraid of a lot of things but this is the first time I got nervous and afraid," said Tony about his experience in segregation. It had been a couple of hours that Tony was gone and his fellow inmates, including Champagne, were trying to get their hands on Tony's shanks, drugs and commissary items.
At the women's pod, undercover inmate Heather was "angry, sad and devastated" over the Mrs Richardson and Caswell incident from the previous episode. She mentioned that the issues in Etowah County Jail facility were "truly horrific" and deep-rooted. While undercover inmate Vanessa noted that a lot of the inmates were close to the jail staff and the correctional officers, she added that most of the people working at this facility were doing so only for the need of a job. She also said that they don't get paid enough for the work that they do and maybe that is why a lot of them do not care about what happens at the jail.
Back at the solitary confinement, Tony was released and after a few moments after cooling off his nerves, he was back into the men's pod where Champagne was trying to get his cell door popped open so that he could usurp all the contraband.
Back in the pod, in just four hours as opposed to three-day confinement, Tony managed to raise a lot of eyebrows and corrections officer Jamichael was heard telling everyone that he is a part of '60 Days In' and not a real inmate. Tony, on the other hand, had a newfound respect for Jamichael, not because he sent him to the hole but because of the way he handled the whole situation. Tony was impressed that the CO was not provoked or intimidated by his conduct and the way he tackled the matter was commendable.
Fans of the show found it funny that Tony was fanboying over Jamichael who "ratted" the show out.
"I would love to see Tony’s reaction to seeing Jamichael telling the inmates that he’s 60 days in and a cop #60DaysIn," wrote a fan. While another tweet read, "Tony don’t know Jamichael ratted the show out. #60daysin. (sic)"
"Does Tony know Jamichael almost got him jumped? #60daysin," wrote another fan.
